How safe/sanitary is electrolysis?

Electrolysis has a history of 120 years.  The most up-to-date methods of sterilization are used.  Disposal needles are used as required by the State of Rhode Island     

Is Electrolysis painful?

Most people describe the feeling as a tingling sensations.  As Electrologist, we are trained to work with the client to make your treatment comfortable.  There are also effective ways to numb the skin area being treated.

 

Is Electrolysis permanent?

Yes, Electrolysis is the only hair removal method approved by the FDA to use the word permanent.  The effectiveness has been knowledged by physicians and scientific articles  published in medical journals.

 

Are there any side effects after treatments?

The average client experiences "redness" on the treated area for about 20-30 minutes depending on their skin type.  One should avoid make-up following treatments.

 

How much does Electrolysis cost?

Electrolysis is considered a very cost-effective method of hair removal compared to other beauty treatments.  The overall cost will depend upon a client's treatment schedule.
